The location was convenient for exploring Traverse City.

Our stay was a nightmare. The lack of proper heating left us freezing all night, as we were given only one thin, threadbare blanket, while the mattress was uncomfortably hard. On top of that, the bathroom was in dire need of attention, with stains everywhere, making it utterly unpleasant to use.

The Grand Traverse Motel surprised me with its cleanliness and updated features. The room felt spacious, with a lovely king-size bed and a big-screen TV that made winding down at night easy. A nice touch was the breakfast snacks and drinks in the lobby, making mornings effortless. I also appreciated the mini-fridge and microwave, perfect for storing snacks. The location was ideal, just a short walk from shops and restaurants. However, the blinds were not very effective at blocking sunlight early in the morning, and the bathroom remodel could use more attention. The bed frame had a noticeable issue, causing it to dip on one side, which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. Despite these shortcomings, the motel was a solid budget-friendly option.

It was just a balanced option for a short weekend trip in Traverse City with extraordinarily good value for money. The room I stayed in was clean and had a warm atmosphere, which made me feel comfortable quickly. Don't expect too many frills. make sure to bring your own coffee, as there weren’t any in the room.

The motel's location is ideal for exploring dining and shopping options, but ensure to confirm parking availability early to avoid tight spots.

Positive, This place exceeded my expectations! I stayed for 3 nights in a Queen Room (upper) and found the room clean and spacious. They provided a flat-screen TV, a small fridge, and a microwave, which were super handy. Breakfast options like yogurt and oatmeal were a nice touch. Definitely a great value for the money! 😊
